Do you know of a fellow alum who is doing incredible work in his or her field?  How about an alum who has been a true champion for IMSA? 

Bring them the recognition they deserve by nominating them for IMSA Board of Trustees Alumni Awards.

Though the theme of this issue is “Playing God”, I will propose here not that we seek to play God or become gods, but that we strive to become posthuman. Talk of “God” or “gods” raises the specter of traditional, outdated, primitive conceptions of superior beings. Let us leave no assumption unquestioned while conceiving of our possible future selves. No matter if we become immortal and incredibly powerful, we will not be supernatural ghosts unbound by physics, nor will we be jealous, vengeful enforcers of Judeo-Christian morals. So, leaving aside gods, I will ask: First, is a posthuman condition truly possible? Second, should we seek to become posthuman? Is it desirable?

Well. I’ll tell you I’ve been doing it, but I haven’t seen the support or other stuff you recommended. Hope the rest of you have had fun.

As the first 10-year reunion in 2000 geared up, we were all 10 years older.. and the internet had been born. Bacani (sorry I don’t remember a first name) set up http://www.bacani.com/imsa1990, it has lots of pictures and stuff. Also, the trivia archive and answers – Wow it’s still there! Good work Bacani.

Anyway – I registered this domain and put up a little stuff, but it’s probably all crap and I don’t even want to resurrect it.  http://www.imsa1990.com

Now I wouldn’t mind if some several people want to do something with this domain - maybe a vBulletin discussion board site? It could exist as it is in WordPress as well, with lots of Publisher/Editors.
